Zebra with foil

We tried to get a little creative with the transfer foils.... We used Sinful Colors Black on Black as our base color.  It's my favorite black it covers so well.  Then we used the tacky glue with a stripper brush and drew on zebra stripes.  After they dried clear we rubbed on the foil in Fiber Optics.  The pictures really don't do it justice it is so gorgeous and classy! Thanks for looking!!!

And a matching pedicure with matching shoes!!!

Venique Contest

I entered my first contest yesterday.  Cosmo Prof was hosting a nail art contest using Venique polish. You had to use at least 2 lacquers it had to be an original design and fashion forward. So I picked some of my favorite colors of theirs got my dotting tool and just went to doodling.  So this is what I come up with and I was pretty pleased by it. You can vote thru August 23rd so please go vote for my design here  Venique contest

blue

I went to Walgreens last week and bought a ton of the sinful colors that was on sale for $.99.  I fell in love with this light sparkly blue called Cinderella. What an appropriate name. So I had to use it first. But you know me I can't leave anything alone so I had to add some sparkle. I used OPI Save Me out of the Nicki Minaj collection.  It's a great glitter. The only problem with it is the shreds of glitter sometimes stick off the nail and when you go to scratch it hurts : ). I topped it off with seche vite. I really enjoyed these colors. Thanks for looking!!!

palm toes

Here's my latest pedicure. I have been wanting to do yellow toes for a few weeks now.  These two colors kept calling my name. They're out of the china glaze neons collection, Sunkissed and I'm with the lifeguard.  I used the Sunkissed as my base color and then just sponged on the I'm with the lifeguard.

I added the palm tree stamp to my big toe with OPI Black Onyx. This stamp was out of the Shany collection.

Tie Dye Foil

Today I got to use some more foil.  I love the look of the foils.  For this one we started with an amazing blue in the Venique line called Ballerina Blues.  I love this Venique lacquer.  I gives perfect coverage and really has some staying power.  After our Blue was dry we use our foil adhesive.  Then just popped on some Tie Dye foil in random places.  This is by fare the prettiest foil.  We even did a matching pedicure.  Thanks for looking!!!

Foils

I got to play with my transfer foils this week.  They are just the coolest and so easy.  I got mine from Dollar Nail Art.  I also dug out my Shellac I hadn't used it in a while either.  I used Rock Royalty and after my second coat I left the tackiness and used my foil.  I used green, gold and the peacock dazzle I used a couple of weeks ago.  Finished with Shellac top coat.  I hope you enjoy!!!!!

Hurray Huarache

I had to redo my toes last weeks. They were starting to chip from being in the pool. I love the new Venique nail lacquers and I have had this gorgeous sparkly blue Hurray Huarache for a month or two now and haven't used it so I thought I'd try it on my toes. I used OPI blue my mind as my base color and then I used one coat of the Hurray Huarache. It's the prettiest blue! Then I added some leopard spots with OPI Golden Rules and Black Onyx. Thanks for looking!!!
